Born in 1989 and raised in New Jersey, Raymond Greaves is an illustrative artist now building upon his visions of space faring civilizations and alien worlds. Ray’s works often revolves around dark science fiction and fantasy settings, presenting imaginary characters and creatures in a believable way. His intrigue of otherworldly oddities is a driving force behind his work and helps him to balance the personal aspects of portrait art with the illustrative qualities of fantasy storytelling.
In addition to exhibiting work in his show Dark Tidings, Greaves’s work has been displayed in the Bayonne Community Museum, QXTs Club, Northern Soul Lounge, Ferdez Art Gallery, the Instigatorzine and the Catapult art magazine.
